The Newton Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a Customer Service & Hospitality Training Session taking place at DMACC Newton Conference Center, 600 N 2nd Ave W, on Tuesday, April 28th, from 1-3PM in conjunction with the Central Iowa Tourism Region and the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. “This will be an Interactive Workshop”, commented Linda Bacon, Executive Director of the Newton CVB. “The Workshop will consist of a 2-hour interactive workshop targeting strategies for community tourism leaders and businesses and attractions.”

Who should attend? Front-line employees who interact with visitors; community tourism leaders; tourism volunteers; and managers or retail shops, restaurants, attractions, hotels, gas stations and convenience stores. Registration is required, but there is no cost to you.
